If you want an expert guide who tracks herds across three parks: take the private jeep with expert.

Ticket questions

Does the tour price include the park entry fee?

It depends on the tour. Some packages, like the full package, include all landing and facility fees. Cheaper base tours require you to pay the 2,060 LKR (plus vehicle fees and tax) directly at the gate in cash.

Can I drive my own car inside?

No. You must use a registered 4x4 safari jeep with a licensed tracker. Standard vehicles cannot navigate the unpaved dirt trails and mud.

Will they pick me up from my hotel?

Most operators offer free pickup if your hotel is within 5 km of Habarana. Pickups from Sigiriya or Dambulla might incur a small extra fee depending on the provider.
